Alterus was a high ranking soldier on New Krypton.
History
When Mala and Jax-Ur arrived at the planet they would later call New Krypton, Alterus cooperated with their rule. But he was uncomfortable with them and disgusted, and eventually turned on them to save Superman and the resistance fighter Cetea.
