Acoustium

Acoustium was an alloy that was developed by Walter Shreeve in Shreeve Sound Laboratories. The alloy was created to amplify sound vibrations, and it was a main component in the devices Shreeve used as the villain Shriek. There were disks on the Shriek costume made of iron, copper, and acoustium that allowed Shriek to alter sound vibrations in various ways. Specifically, utilizing acoustium, Shriek could amplify low-frequency sounds to create destructive forces that he can control the direction and severity of. It is unknown whether acoustium was made before or after Derek Powers funded Shreeve's research.
