She was captured by the Mutants when she was caught spying, but was saved by Batman. During Batman's fight with the Mutant Leader, Robin joins in by firing pellets with her slingshot at the Mutants.
Background information[]
The 80s Robin is Carrie Kelley, who became the third Robin (after Dick Grayson and the late Jason Todd) in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. In the sequel The Dark Knight Strikes Again, she changed her name to Catgirl.
