I'd say no.
Don't get me wrong, her backstory wasn't terrible - an adrenaline-seeking stuntwoman who turns to crime when insurance companies won't pay her anymore is a nice twist - but I feel like there's only so much you can do with it.
@DeltaSquad5 What do you mean by that?
@Titans1234 - I just don't there's much you can do with her character before you basically rehash the same thing over and over again.
With Mr. Freeze in the Batman series, for instance, all his stories revolved around his wife Nora.
The first time was getting revenge for her apparent murder, the second was reluctantly helping the madman Grant Walker in exchange for getting her back, the film Subzero was about him trying to save her life after her capsule is broken and his final appearance was him taking out his pain and anger on the world after Nora ultimately got together with another man.
With Roxy, I personally don't think there's much you can do with her without lazily rehashing the same plot over and over again. I honestly think that's why in the Superman episode where Superman comes to Gotham to search for Batman after he goes missing, Roxy's role is basically limited to a cameo.
If you disagree and think there is more that could be done with her character, fair enough - I look forward to hearing your ideas. :)
@DeltaSquad5 Well actually, you forgot about Mr. Freeze's actual latest official appearance in this episode of Batman Beyond. Remember?
@Titans1234 - I'm well aware of that - Mr. Freeze's death in that episode is one of the times in the DCAU that has made me tear up (especially since his voice actor has also passed away).
However, since Roxy Rocket isn't in Batman Beyond (or if she was, I never saw her), I decided to stick to using examples from the Batman animated series where they both appeared for examples.
@DeltaSquad5 You know, it's confusing why the story writers didn't bother to bring Roxy Rocket back for or rather in Batman Beyond as an elderly woman who has eventually retired from her life of crime.
So if Roxy Rocket was brought back for or rather in Batman Beyond, do you think the story writers probably could've created a son or a daughter for Roxy Rocket, but either a child or a daughter who is now grown up or something? So, what do you think?
